In Limbo Embassy at Dutch Design Week

02 Nov In Limbo Embassy at Dutch Design Week

From  October 17-18 and 23-15 In Limbo Embassy was in Eindhoven to meet people and introduce the Embassy to passerby. We were nominated for an award in the category of communication, and although we didn’t win, the winner was another fantastic project making the life of refugees in camps more accessible. The project is an interactive transmedia documentary about everyday life in Domiz Camp, a Syrian refugee camp in northern Iraq.

Tulu and Earnest were ambassadors for all five days, and they talked to many people from around the world, including local government officials, designers, and people active in like-minded organizations. Many of the people we talked to were eager to get involved or take action to improve the lives of refugees, and few had ever met a refugee before.
